Description
Seattle World Fair Jim Beam Decanter. A bottle designed in the shape of the Space Needle was issued in 1962 to honor the World’s Fair held in Seattle, Washington. This bottle is often called the Space Needle. “Century 21” is embossed and painted in gold on one side, “World’s Fair Seattle” on the other. Side panels on the light blue bottle picture airplanes, swinging salmon, cans of salmon, frut trees and high mountain peaks in the background. The stopper resembles the famous revolving restaurant, a leading attraction on the firgrounds. This bottle purchased as a memento of the Fair introduced many visitors to the field of bottle collecting. Height 13.5 inches.
